Job Title: Validation Engineer (Critical Air)
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Salary/Benefits: £28k – £48k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a successful Critical Air / Clean Air specialist who have a strong presence across the UK. Due to recent growth, they are seeking a highly-knowledgeable Validation Engineer, who is able to conduct validations on Clean Rooms and operating theatres. Applicants will ideally hold the P601 qualification, in addition to the Authorised Persons (AP) and / or Competent Persons (CP). Due to the ongoing growth of the company, candidates will need to be flexible to travel in line with company requirements. Experience / Qualifications:
– Hands-on experience working as a Critical Air Validation Engineer
– Will hold the BOHS P601
– Ideally will hold the CP and / or AP
– Fully conversant in HTM 0301 and HSG 258 guidelines
– Flexible to travel in line with company needs
– Good literacy and numeracy skill level
– Able to confidently use IT software
The Role:
– Carrying out the validation and verification of clean rooms and operating theatres
– HEPA and DOP filter testing
– Particle counting
– Testing of existing LEV / critical air / clean air ventilation systems
– Assessing the performance of systems and making recommendations for remedial works where needed
– Servicing of safety cabinets and laminar flow units
– Keeping accurate records of findings and works undertaken and compiling into detailed service reports
– Acting as a key point of contact, answering any technical queries and providing advice
– Adhering to industry safety guidelines
– Ensuring to work to set deadlines and project scope
