Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Maidstone, London
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £42k DOE + Training & Benefits

This well-established company has gained more contracts in London and is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer. It would be beneficial if you have plumbing experience and can efficeintly complete Water Hygiene duties such as water sampling, flushing and acid descales following ACOP L8 standards. Experience / Qualifications:
– Worked as a Water Hygiene engineer, ideally with plumbing experience
– Strong understanding of ACOP L8, H&S and HSG 274 guidelines
– Travelling to client sites with a keen attitude to work
– Sound literacy and IT skills
– Willing to learn and develop
– Favourable to have NVQ level 2 plumbing qualifications or City & Guilds equivalent

The Role:
– Quickly grasp basic remedial plumbing like pipework installations and valve replacements
– Flushing deadlegs
– Legionella control by water sampling and temperature monitoring
– Acid descales for showerheads
– TMV servcing and repairs
– Working on hot and cold storage tanks
– Chlroinations
