Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Salary/Benefits: £27k – £36k + Training & Benefits
A respected and successful name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry is recruiting for a hardworking Water Hygiene Engineer. You will be working across healthcare and public sector premises, to uphold safety and compliance standards. We are seeking someone who is self-sufficient on site, and confident in completing a diverse range of water hygiene duties. Our client is able to offer fantastic further development within the industry for the right candidate, in addition to competitive salaries and benefits packages (including: vehicle, overtime and fuel card).

Experience / Qualifications:
– Proven track record working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
– Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
– Able to work within teams and independently on site
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
– Flexible to travel in line with company needs
– Professional manner
The Role:
– Showerhead and outlet descales
– Flushing on little used outlets
– TMV servicing
– Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
– Calorifier inspections
– Water sampling
– Temperature monitoring
– Keeing accurate logs of works completed
– Providing project updates to clients
– Liaising with account managers to ensure high levels of service for clients
