Job Description
Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor / Plumber
Location: Enfield, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £26k – £40k + Training & Benefits
Due to continued company success, our client is seeking a multi-skilled applicant, who is confident in undertaking water hygiene and plumbing duties, in addition to legionella risk assessments. You will be joining a national player within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, who have a growing presence across the South East of England. The ideal applicant will have a flexible attitude in order to adapt to changing client requirements. Our client is offering competitive basic salaries, in addition to the use of a company vehicle, overtime, training, pension schemes and annual leave.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Proven experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor / Plumber
– Will hold the City and Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessing
– Must be qualified with the G3 Unvented ticket and NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
– Excellent technical knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
– Hardworking attitude
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
– CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections
– Tank installations and chlorinations
– Showerhead disinfections
– TMV servicing, installations and replacements
– Removing deadlegs
– Replacing flexi-hoses
– Cooling tower cleans and disinfections
– Conducting legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
– Fault-finding on site
– Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
– Producing detailed reports to advise on findings and make appropriate recommendations
